Greetings to all fans of old games. This is the ninth issue of my retro column – Total Recall! This time based on the game Xena Warrior Princess (“Xena Warrior Princess”) for the first Playstation. Are there people here who remember this wonderful game??

Heh, I also had this game as a child and it gave me a lot of fun, but for some reasons unknown to me it constantly hung and I couldn’t move beyond the first level with the village, but I liked the game from the very beginning and the series is cool, yes. Listen, dude, check out Vagrant Story sometime, it’s a crazy thing, although the plot in style is typical incomprehensible Japanese, but the gameplay will give RPG fans a kind of D&D with the VATS system from Fallout, for some centuries someone realized that armor elements do not protect the entire character, but only his individual parts of the body and used it to the fullest.

Someday for sure, but probably not this year. I don’t want to start a series (with several games) yet. And at the very least you need to replay the trilogy, I don’t remember a lot of things.

But the truth is that the game is worthwhile, it happened a long time ago, back when the series was shown. I can’t say it’s downright fantastic, but the battles really didn’t get boring until the end of the game, now I’m just surprised how I managed to get through it THEN – those platform jumps over cliffs, not the easiest bosses, oh, yes, the Cyclops, that bastard, spoiled my nerves… a nightmare. I missed something in the description – there are temporary boosts for Zina, so, a trifle. I liked the review, give me more good old nostalgic content!

Alien Resurections is an excellent shooter based on the fourth part of Aliens, very high quality.
Siphon Filter – especially the second part, the best, in my opinion.
Twisted Metal 4 is also a great thing, perhaps the best of the line for PS 1.
Metal Slug X is a killer 2-D action movie in the spirit of Contra, a port from slot machines, a lot of action and fun!
Medievil is a damn good platformer, definitely worth checking out for PS 1 fans.
Hogs of War is a charming and humorous strategy with the concept of the famous Worms.
Parasites Eve is an excellent action game, with mechanics similar to Resident Evil.
Dino Crisis & Resident Evil – a Capcom product that needs no introduction.
